Former BCCI president Jagmohan Dalmiya appealed to the ICC through the Indian Cricket Board to extend the deadline for completion of work at Eden Gardens till7th February.Mr. Dalmiya, who is the president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB), requested for the extension drawing parallel to the additional 14 days that has been granted to Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and three other Sri Lankans stadiums to complete their work on time.International Cricket Council announced its decision to shift the World Cup match between India and England scheduled to be played at the EdenGardens on 27th February.
