Some Dalit organizations today protested at Jantar Mantar in the national capital against the recent Saharanpur group clashes. They were holding protest against alleged atrocities on Dalits and demanding justice. <br/><br/>The outfit, which the UP police has alleged was behind the violent protests in Saharanpur, had led the agitation. The protestors demanded that cases be registered against those who had perpetrated violence against dalits early this month. They also demanded that the affected families be awarded a compensation.
