Dalai Lama to visit Arunachal Pradesh from April 4

Tawang is getting ready to welcome the 14th Dalai Lama who will visit Arunachal Pradesh on 4th April. The Dalai Lama is scheduled to stay in Arunachal Pradesh for a week.<br/><br/>China has been continuously showing dissent over the Dalai Lama's visit to Arunachal Pradesh claiming Tawang falls in the Chinese territory and it would affect the Indo-Chinese relationship.<br/><br/>All Arunachal Pradesh Students' Union has termed the Chinese claim as nonsensical and an act of trying to infringe upon the internal matter of the sovereign country. Chief Minister Pema Khandu in October last invited the spiritual leader to visit Arunachal Pradesh. The Noble Peace Laureate is visiting the frontier state after a gap of 8 years.
