Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama has arrived in Itanagar this morning. He was given a rousing welcome at the Raj Bhavan helipad by a hosts of dignitaries and followers including Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu and his Coucil of Ministers. After his arrival, the Dalai Lama proceeded to the Thupten Gatsalling Gompa and later to the Theravada Buddhist Temple in the state capital amidst tight security arrangements. People of all faith and creed lined up the streets to have a glimpse of the Dalai Lama. Later in the evening, he will give religious discourse at the Itanagar Banquel Hall. Thousands of people are already camping in the state capital to listen to the sermon of the Buddhist monk. The Dalai Lama will depart for Guwahati tomorrow morning winding up his week long visit to Arunachal Pradesh.<br/>
