Dalai Lama in Bodh Gaya for Geluk Monlam puja

Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama arrived in Bodh Gaya on Monday to take part in the seven-day Geluk Monlam puja at the Mahabodhi Mahavihara.<br/><br/>He will deliver discourses at the Kalchakra maidan for five consecutive days from Tuesday. The spiritual leader will also visit the UNESCO-declared world heritage Mahabodhi temple to offer prayers. The Dalai Lama wlll inaugurate a multi-media museum and have a look at new stone carvings on Buddha's life, in the mahavihara premises.<br/><br/>Bihar Home Secretary Aamir Subhani said, stringent security arrangements have been made in view of the threat perception to the Dalai Lama. The spiritual leader has Z-plus security.
