Daily COVID caseload crosses 3,000 mark in Odisha

<span style="color: #222222;">In Odisha, the daily covid caseload crossed three thousand mark on Tuesday, taking the total number of affected people in the state to 87602.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A record 2546 infected people have also recovered in a day.  With this, the total number of recoveries has jumped to 59470. The Covid death toll has also shot up to 428, with the death of 13 persons in the last 24 hours.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR correspondent reports, the sustained focus on testing by the government of Odisha has brought the positivity rate down below 6 per cent, despite the daily spike in covid cases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">With about two lakh samples having been tested during the last three days, the number of cumulative tests is fast approaching the 15 lakh mark.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile the state government has refixed the rate of  RT-PCR test for private individuals at Rs. 1200 in ICMR approved private laboratories.</span><br />''
