The Enforcement Directorate has completed the first day of questioning of Kadapa Lok Sabha Member Jaganmohan Reddy in connection with the Disproportionate assets case against him and it will be resumed tomorrow. A team of ED officials from Delhi and Hyderabad have begun recording the statement of the Kadapa Lok Sabha Member at the Chanchalguda Jail in Hyderabad this morning in connection with the assets case under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The officials have questioned Jaganomohan Reddy in the presence of his advocate following a CBI special court granting permission to the central agency with regard to the alleged foreign fund flow into his business.

The court granted permission to the ED to record his statement between 10 Am and 5PM till 21st of this month. Jaganmohan Reddy was arrested on 27th of May in the assets case against him and presently in Chanchalguda jail on judicial remand till 18th of this month.
