A CBI special court in Hyderabad today rejected bail to Kadapa Lok Sabha Member Jaganmohan Reddy who was arrested and remanded in connection the disproportionate assets case against him. The CBI court has given its directions a short while ago after hearing over bail petition filed by Jaganmohan Reddy.Meanwhile, the Andhra Pradesh High Court has adjourned till tomorrow its direction over the quash petition filed by the Kadapa MP. The arguments over the quash petition by the MP and the petition filed by CBI seeking his custody have been completed today in the High Court. Jaganmohan Reddy has sought quashing his arrest as well as the probe against him stating that they are illegal. The CBI has sought 10-day custody of the Kadapa MP as he is the prime accused to further probe the assets case.
