A special court in Karnataka will pronounce its judgment on the 66.65-crore rupees disproportionate assets case against Jayalalithaa today.
The Supreme Court has yesterday dismissed the plea of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa to defer pronouncement of its verdict in Disproportionate Assets case. A bench headed by Justice T S Thakur dismissed the plea filed by the lawyer who said that there would be law and order problem after the pronouncement of verdict and police might not be able to control the situation.
