D P R Korea appoints Kim Jong-un in two top posts

Youngest son of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-il has been appointed to two top jobs. Kim Jong-un who until now has never held a public position, was named as a member of the ruling Workers' Party Central Committee and Deputy Chairman of the powerful National Defence Commission. He had already been made a four-star general.Kim Jong-un is Kim Jong-il's third son and had already been identified as the most likely successor to the Communist dynasty started by his grandfather Kim Il-sung in 1948.
