Cyclonic Storm 'Tauktae' over east central & adjoining southeast Arabian Sea moves north-north-westwards

<span style="color: #222222;">The Cyclonic Storm "Tauktae" over east central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea moved north-north-westwards with a speed of about 11 kmph during past few hours and is now centred over east central and adjoining southeast Arabian Sea.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Cyclonic Storm is very likely to intensify further into a Severe Cyclonic Storm during next 6 hours and into a Very Severe Cyclonic Storm during the subsequent 12 hours.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">National Weather Forecasting Centre of the India Meteorological Department has said that it is very likely to move north-north-westwards and cross Gujarat coast between Porbandar & Naliya around Tuesday afternoon.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warning regarding moderate to heavy rainfall in several parts of South India and Gujarat and West Rajasthan.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It said Kerala will receive light to moderate rainfall at most places with heavy to very heavy falls at a few places and extremely heavy falls at isolated places today.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The State will also receive heavy to very heavy falls at isolated places tomorrow and heavy falls at isolated places on Monday.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Similar warnings have been issued for coastal areas and Ghat districts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Konkan and Goa.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">IMD has also made a forecast of light to moderate rainfall at many places over coastal districts of Saurashtra from tomorrow afternoon and heavy to very heavy falls at isolated places over Saurashtra & Kutch on Monday and Tuesday.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">It said areas in western Rajasthan is also likely to receive moderate to very rainfall on Monday and Tuesday.</span><br />''
