Cyclone Yaas entered Jharkhand late last night through East Singhbhum district and is currently moving towards Saraikela Kharsawan district. Most parts in Jharkhand have been witnessing the impact of Cyclonic storm Yaas leading to intermittent heavy rainfall and gusty winds are blowing with a speed of 60 to 80 kilometres per hour.<br />'' <br />''After making a landfall at the coastal areas of Odisha yesterday morning, the Cyclone Yaas has turned into a severe storm and is affecting most of the districts of Jharkhand after its entry in the state. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has said that he has been closely monitoring the effects of the cyclone in the state and giving instructions to local administration and NDRF teams to safeguard people. He has appealed to the people to stay back in their homes and remain safe.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Many districts of the state Ranchi, Khunti, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan, Bokaro, Gumla and Simdega have been put on Red and Orange by the Weather Department as extremely heavy to heavy rainfall has been predicted for the whole day. Squally and gusty winds at 80 to 90 km per hour is being witnessed. More than 11,000 people have been shifted and rescued to safer places and makeshift shelter homes in East and West Singhbhum districts.</span><br />
