In Gujarat, the State Administration is prepared in view of the cyclone which is likely to hit the coastal areas of Kutch and Saurashtra. A Control Rooms have been set up in likely affected costal areas. <br/><br/>Quoting official sources, AIR Bhuj correspondent reports that Disaster Management Teams have been put on high alert to meet any eventuality in Kutch, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Junagarh, Amreli, Bhavnagar districts.<br/><br/>Fishermen have been warned not to venture in the sea and coast gaurd has been advised to sent back the fishermen who are already in the sea to the nearest fishing harbours. Salt pan workers have been shifted to the safer places.<br/><br/>Meanwhile Chief Secretary Mr. A.K. Jyoti held an emergency meeting of the all concerned department in view of the cyclonic storm.
