In Andaman and Nicobar Island, 21 tourists have been evacuated by Indian airforce helicopter from the Havelock island. They have been evacuated to Port Blair. Intermittent rains are still being experienced in the Island. Our correspondent reports that the rescue works are continuing.<br/><br/> <br/>Navy has deployed four ships and coast guards two ships to evacuate the stranded tourists. The first ship of Coast guard is reported to be arriving at 11.30 A.M. in Havelock island. The Andaman Nicobar Island administration has also sent two ships, which are on the way to the Island. Inland service helicopters are also been kept on standby to evacuate the stranded passengers if necessary. About 1,200 tourists were stranded because of the cyclonic weather since Monday.
