Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Visakhapatnam tomorrow to take stock of the situation arising out of cyclone Hudhud.
In a tweet message, Prime Minister today said that he has been constantly taking updates on the cyclone. The Prime Minister said, he has spoken to Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N. Chandrababu Naidu about the situation in the state.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, tweeted that he has spoken to Chief Ministers of Bihar, Jharkhand,Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal to take stock of the situation of post Hudhud's landfall. Mr. Singh said, the states are prepared for any eventuality arising from the impact of cyclone which is expected to bring heavy rains.
The Centre has extended all possible assistance to the affected states to face any emergent situation post Hudhud's landfall.
