Cyclone Gulab moves westward, rain likely over many parts in Bangladesh

<span style="color: black;">Cyclonic storm Gulab over the Northwest Bay and adjoining west central bay moved further westwards over the same area. At 12 noon on Sunday, the cyclone was centred about 750 kilometers southwest of Chattogram port, 725 kilometres southwest of Cox's Bazar port, 590 kilometres Southwest of Mongla port and 605 kilometres southwest of Payra port, said the Meteorological department of Bangladesh in its latest bulletin on Sunday.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">It is likely to move in west-northwesterly direction further and cross north Andhra Pradesh, South Odisha coasts of India.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted distant warning signal number two.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">All fishing boats and trawlers over the north bay and deep sea have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Weather department has forecast light to moderate rain or thunderstorms accompanied by temporary gusty wind over some places in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.</span>
