<span style="color: #222222;">Tamil Nadu today urged the Centre to release 15 thousand crore rupees&nbsp; for relief and rehabilitation works in 'cyclone Gaja' affected areas in the State. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Chief Minister E Palaniswami today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought the&nbsp;financial assistance. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">As a interim relief, he requested Prime Minister for immediate release of one thousand 500 crore rupees.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Palaniswami also requested him to depute a central team to carry out cyclone's assessment. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Palaniswami told reporters in New Delhi that Prime Minister has promised to depute a Central team soon to visit the affected districts of the State.</span>
