<span style="color: #222222;">The Indian Air Force continues to be on high state of preparedness for undertaking Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief related work in Cyclone AMPHAN affected areas. 56 Heavy and Medium lift air carriers including 25 fixed-wing aircraft and 31 helicopters have been earmarked by the Air Force to carry out relief works. The Aircrafts have been modified for undertaking relief operations and are on standby with crew for a quick deployment at various IAF bases.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Crisis Management Cell at Air Force headquarter is actively coordinating with the Civil Administration and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams in the states of Odisha and West Bengal in order to meet any requirement of relief and transportation. Air Force heavy lift carrier C-130 had yesterday, airlifted four NDRF teams, two each from Pune and Arakkonam to Kolkata.
