Home Minister Rajnath Singh today said, cyber crime has become a big threat for the country as various disruptive forces are trying to lure and mislead young minds over the internet. Inaugurating an information security conference in New Delhi, the Home Minister said the government was concerned about cyber security and steps have been taken in this regard. Mr Singh said efforts must be made to ensure that the country's systems and networks were updated properly.<br/><br/>The Home Minister said the government will soon set up a cyber crime coordination centre following a suggestion of an expert committee in this regard. The Home Ministry had recently said a 400 crore rupees cybercrime control hub, to be called Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, will be set up to check cyber crime, including child pornography and online abuse, as per the recommendations of the committee. The Home Minister has already directed speedy implementation of recommendations of the committee.
