Tourism inflow shoots at the national capital Delhi before Commonwealth Games. As per reports available from Bureau of Immigration about 1 Lakh 19 thousand 544 tourists reached at Delhi during first 27 days of last month. despite the negative publicity about alleged mismanagement, lack of security provisions and spread of deceases tourist arrival figures for the said month jumped over 12 percent in the comparison of corresponding figures of last year. During last year for the first 27 days in the month of September only 1 lakh 6 thousand 185 foreign tourists had visited the country. It is mentionable going by the past few years Foreign Tourist Arrival figures drop after August. This year in the month of August a total of 1 Lakh 32 thousand 827 foreigners had visited the national capital. Ministry of tourism has also taken several steps to attract the tourists from abroad as well as domestic tourists to Delhi during Commonwealth Games.
