Enforcement Directorate, ED, has filed a charge sheet against sacked Chairman of Commonwealth Games Organising Committee, Suresh Kalmadi alongwith his five colleagues for alleged financial irregularities in the Queens Baton Relay event held in 2009 in London.

AIR correspondent reports that the charge sheet was filed in New Delhi under the Foreign Exchange Management Act for violating Reserve bank of India's Guidelines while making the payments in the conduct of the Queens Baton Relay.

The ED also named five Organising Committee officials apart from Kalmadi in its complaint. They are former Secretary General Lalit Bhanot, Director General V K Verma, Deputy Director General Sanjay Mahindroo, Joint Director General, accounts and finance, M Jaychandran and A K Mattoo.
