Indian Grapplers in the Glasgow Commonwealth Games are vying for more medals on 8th Day. Olympian Yogeshwar Dutt in 65 Kg and Pawan Kumar in 86 Kg, will fight their bouts in Men's Freestyle Round of 16 today. On the other hand Indian eves Babita Kumari in 55kg quarterfinal and Geetika Jhakar in 63kg semifinal will try to earn medals.The Badminton will showcase PV Sindhu, PC Thulasi, Parupalli Kashyap, Kidambi Srikanth and RMV Gurusaidutt in their single's round of 16. The Indian Men's and Women's doubles will also play their pre quarterfinals matches.In Hockey, the Indian Men's team will clash with South Africa in their final preliminary round game. All India Radio will broadcast live commentary on the match from 8:25 PM onwards. The Indian Women's Team yesterday Crashed out after loosing to South Afrcian eves 2-3.In Table Tennis, H.R Desai will play his round of 64 match in Men's singles event today. In Women's singles event Monika Batra, M.S Patkar and S. Kuamresan will play in the round of 32. In Men's Doubles event two Indian pairs will be seen in Round of 32 matches.In Track and Field events, India is expecting a medal from Vikas Gowda as he will throw in finals of Men's Discus Throw event later tonight. India has also pinned up their hopes on Delhi's Gold Medallist Krishna Poonia. She will be seen tonight in the qualifications of Women's Discus Throw along with Seema Punia. India's star athlete Tintu Luka will be seen in the 800m semi finals and Mayookha Johnny will hop in the Women's Long Jump final.Diving, Squash and Lawn Balls will also witness India's Participation.India is currently on the 6th Spot in Medals Tally with 10 Golds to it's name.
