India assured of it's first medal in the 2014 Commonwealth Games as Navjot Chana entered the Finals of Judo in the Men's 60kg Weight Divison.Navjot defeated South African D Le Grange in the semi finals.Two Indian Eve are also in the semi finals.Sushila Likmabam in 48 Kg weight divison and Kalpana Thoudam in the 52 Kg catogery.In Badminton Mixed Team event India recorded a 5-Nil victory over Ghana.In Table Tennis, the Indian Women's and Men's team gave a convincing start as they both over powered their opponents 3-Nil. Indian Eves defeated Barbados and Indian Men's team defeated Vanuatu.
