Union Home Secretary G K Pillai yesterday held a meeting to review the preparedness of security agencies for the Commonwealth Games. The meeting discussed functioning of CCTV cameras, flap barriers, boom barriers and uploading of information regarding accreditation. This was follow up of the review meeting held on Sunday. At that meeting, senior Delhi Police officials apprised Pillai about the difficulties faced by security agencies in checking the genuineness of accreditation cards as they could not access information. For tourists visiting the capital during Commonwealth Games, Railways will run a special train from the city to Agra from October six till the event ends. Sources said the special Shatabdi train will cater to tourists, athletes and officials who plan to visit the Taj Mahal during the Games. The non-stop train will leave Delhi in the morning and return to Delhi in the evening.
