Ace Indian shooter Harpreet Singh enhanced India's medal tally to 28 at the Commonwealth Games as he clinched the silver medal in Men's 25m Rapid Fire at the Barry Buddon Shooting Centre on Tuesday. Harpreet bagged the Silver with 21 points. Manav Jeet Singh Sandhu bagged a bronze in Men's trap shooting competitions.Indian shooters Gagan Narang and Sanjeev Rajput advanced to the finals of the men's 50m rifle 3-position final. Narang finished 2nd, while Rajput was placed 4th in the qualifying. Olympic silver medallist Vijay Kumar crashed out in the 25m rapid fire pistol shooting.Ace Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar entered the finals in the 74kg category after defeating Nigerian wrestler Bibo 8-4 in ongoing Glasgow commonwealth games on Tuesday. Rajeev Tomar, another Indian wrestler also entered finals in the 125kg category after defeating New Zealand wrestler Marcus Carney 11-1.Nigerian teenage weight lifter Chika Amalaha has been provisionally suspended from the Commonwealth Games after testing positive in a doping test taken after she won gold in the women's 53kg category, the Commonwealth Games Federation announced today. In case if the test is found positive, India's Bronze medalist Santoshi Matsa may be upgraded to silver medal and Swati Singh may get the Bronze.In the medal tally, with seven gold 13 silver and eight bronze India is on 7th place with a total of 28. Australia with 87 medals tops the tally and England on Second place with 74 medals.
