The 'Games Village' is now being given final touches and will be handed over by the developer to the Commonwealth Games Organising Committee by August one, Lt Governor Tejindra Khanna said today after making on the spot inspection of progress of work. Khanna visited the 'Games Village', comprising 1,168 flats, for the second time in last 10 days. The Games Village will accommodate over 8,000 athletes.Expressing satisfaction over pace of work at the Games Village, Khanna said he was confident that all other projects linked to the mega sporting event would also be completed well in time.
