India began its gold winning spree on the second day of the Commonwealth Games with shooters hitting the bull's eye. While Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang won gold medal in 10 metre air rifles pairs event with a new meet record, shooters Anisha Sayyed and Rahi Sarnobat have also won a gold in the 25 metre pistol pairs women event. Deepak Sharma and Omkar Singh brought silver in the 50 metre pistol pairs event. Bindra expressed satisfaction over the achievement.His coach Sunny Thomas also felt overjoyed. AIR correspondent reports it is a discipline where India is expected to collect maximum number of medals. Besides Bindra and Narang who have also qualified for the Olympics, India's bright prospects Tejaswini Sawant , is also expected to bring laurels for the country.On the second day of the competition, all together 54 medals including 18 golds are to be decided. In boxing, India's Vijendra Singh and Dinesh Kumar are hot favourites while the Men's hockey team will take on Malayasia in their opening match.
