India has started strong on the 3rd day of the 20th Commonwealth Games. Indian shooter Prakash Nanjapa bagged silver as he finished second in the Men's 10 m air pistol event . Om Prakash bowed out from the same event as he missed out by just one point for the qualifying cut. India's Apurvi Chandela have qualified for finals in Women's 10m Air Rifle by creating games record. Her compatriot Ayonika Paul have also qualified for the finals as she finished fourth in the Qualifications. India's Anisha Sayyed finished second in the Women's 25m Pistol precision event to qualify for the next round. In Men's skeet shooting Mairaj Ahmad Khan failed to qualify for the semi finals round.
