The Congress Working Committee, CWC will meet today to approve the schedule for the election of the new party President. PTI quoting party sources says that the meeting will be held at Congress chief Sonia Gandhi's 10 Janpath residence. <br/><br/>Once the schedule for the election is approved by the CWC, the party's Central Election Authority will notify the same.<br/>PTI reports that the election process is likely to be completed before 9th December, when the Gujarat Assembly poll begins.<br/><br/>The party's organisational election has to be completed before December 31 as the Election Commission has given the last extension to Congress for completing the internal poll process by the end of this year.
