In Bihar, Kosi river is flowing at near normal level. According to latest report of Central Water Commission, there is no significant change in flow of water in the river.

Centre is closely monitoring the situation arising out of landslide and blockage of river in Nepal. Technical inputs are being shared by Central agencies with State Government and Nepal to deal with the situation.

Cabinet Secretary Ajit Seth will be holding a meeting of National Crisis management committee in the evening to review the situation.

The National Disaster Response Forces, Air Force Medical Teams and Naval Divers are already deployed in the area to help the civil administration in evacuation and relief measures.
