The Home Minister has said that adequate and foolproof security measures have been put in place for the Commonwealth Games. P. Chidambaram said that there is no credible threat to the games but the government is taking every bit of information seriously and putting in place necessary measures. Chidambaram has already visited three venues of the Commonwealth games and is likely to visit the games village soon to take stock of the security at the venues.
