The Central Vigilance Commission will complete its probe in the Commonwealth Games related projects by next month end. Official sources said, a directive has been issued by the Commission to the special cell set up to look into the games related projects exclusively.

In an exclusive interview to AIR earlier this week, Central Vigilance Commissioner Pradeep Kumar said that the anti-corruption watchdog will intensify investigations against the officials involved in executing games related projects.

Our correspondent reports that the Commission will be holding regular review meetings with the CBI and other agencies probing the irregularities to monitor the progress in the probe.
