In Kerala, the police custody of two Italian marines accused in the murder of two Indian fishermen has been extended for another week . Both the accused were produced before the Chief Judicial Magistrate in Kollam today amid tight security.

The extension of police custody has been granted by the court for seizure of the weapons used by the marines to kill the fishermen last week off Kollam coast.
