The Tamil Nadu Government has transferred the Thoothukudi district Superintendent of Police, under whose jurisdiction the custodial death of the father-son duo took place. He has been brought under compulsory wait at the DGP office. An order issued by the state Home Department today says he will be replaced by his Villupuram counterpart S.Jeyakumar. Furthermore, the Inspector General of Police Dr S.Murugan, currently with the DGP Office in Chennai, has been posted in charge of the Madurai Zone as its new IG, as the current incumbent retires on superannuation tomorrow.<br />''  <br />
