The current spell of flood has claimed 11 lives in Telangana as river Godavari continues to be on spate. More teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been sent to flood affected districts for rescue operations. Two NDRF teams were sent to Karimnagar district yesterday evening where several villages are being evacuated due to breach to mid Maner Project. <br/><br/>Already there are NDRF teams working on rescue and relief activities in Nizamabad and Medak districts which were battered due to heavy rains for the past 5 days. <br/><br/>Meanwhile, the water level in River Godavari at Bhadrachalam is rising and the state authorities monitoring the situation said it may reach 40 meters by this evening.
