In Assam, day curfew has been relaxed in Chirang, Baksa and Kokrajhar districts today. Situation is limping back to normal in violence hit Bodoland Territorial Area District.

But a strict vigil is being maintained by the security forces. 36 fixed pickets have been set up in Baksa and Kokrajhar district and operation is on against militants and also to seize illegal arms. Miscreants killed 39 persons in a recent violence.
