Curfew imposed on affected areas of East Garo Hills of Meghalaya was relaxed for six hours on Thursday, from 10 am-4 pm. Deputy Commissioner of East Garo Hills, Pravin Bakshi said the curfew had been relaxed taking into consideration the peaceful environment currently prevailing in the district. However, security forces are still keeping a tight vigil.
