Curfew relaxation withdrawn in Bareilly

In Uttar Pradesh, educational institutions have been closed and relaxation in curfew has been withdrawn in Bareilly city on Thursday after large scale protest against arrest of Ittehad-e-Millat Council, President Maulana Tauquir Raza Khan. He was arrested on Monday for allegedly making inflammatory speeches and disturbance in communal harmony in the city.<br/> <br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that state government has shifted district magistrate Bareilly for his alleged failure to control the situation. Mr. Anil Garg from Pilibhit is new incumbent.<br/><br/>Large numbers of people are still gathered at Islamia Inter college and other places protesting arrest of Maulana Tauqir Khan. They are demanding immediate release of him.<br/><br/>The Director General of state police Mr. Karamveer Singh and Principle Secretary Home Mr. Kunwar Fateh Bahadur Singh had visited the town on Wednesday and reviewed security arrangements.<br/><br/>They also met different groups of people to normalise the situation. Educational Educations were opened from yesterday but administration has decided to close them again.<br/>
