Curfew is lifted from Pulwama and Kakopora towns

In Kashmir valley, the authorities have now lifted curfew at Pulwama and Kakapora towns. Even though the situation in the valley is relatively peaceful, strict restrictions with huge deployment of force are in place in interior parts of Srinagar city and Maisuma area in up town. The restrictions also prevailed in Baramulla and Anantnag. AIR Correspondent reports that the opposition People's Democratic Party is likely to review its decision of not attending Monday's all party meeting called by the State Chief Minister. The party sources said that Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has telephoned Mehabooba Mufti and asked her to reconsider the decision.
