Curfew is being relaxed in old city of Hyderabad

<br/>In Andhra Pradesh, curfew is being relaxed in 25 police station areas in old city of Hyderabad this morning in two phases. The police have decided to relax curfew for few hours today as the situation continued to be peaceful and under control. Curfew will be relaxed in 8 police station areas for two hours from 8 AM onwards while it will be relaxed in remaining 17 police station areas for three hours from 10 Am onwards. City Police Commissioner A K Khan told reporters that the situation is peaceful and no incident of fresh violence reported from any area in the last three days. Meanwhile, additional security forces and video-graphers have been deployed in the curfew-clamped areas to keep a vigil during the curfew relaxation. Elaborate arrangements have been made to supply essential commodities such as milk, vegetables, food grains and medicines during curfew relaxation. All fair price shops, shops that sell essential commodities and medical halls would remain open during the period. Police said, only women and people above 50 years would be allowed to venture out to buy essentials.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, 10th class board examination scheduled today has also been postponed in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad as the curfew is continuing in 25 police station areas in the city.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has said the Government come down heavily on the law-breakers and sought the cooperation of all the political parties in maintaining law and order in the State capital. Meanwhile, the special investigation teams began raids on the houses of the rioters.
