Uttar Pradesh curfew has been imposed in six police station areas in Moradabad district on Tuesday night following large scale violence between two groups. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that heavy security forces have been deployed to maintain peace and harmony. The curfew has been imposed in most of the city area except civil lines police area. All areas under Katghar, Galshahid, Majhola, Kotwali, Nagfani and Mugalpura are placed under curfew. Police have arrested more than three dozen persons for their alleged involvement in violence and spreading violence.
