In Andhra Pradesh, curfew was imposed in Adoni town of Kurnool district following clashes between two communities during Ganesh immersion procession on Monday.Nearly 30 people including a few policemen sustained injuries in stone-pelting and other incidents of violence. Several vehicles and shops were also damaged in the incident.District Collector and senior police officials visited Adoni on Monday night and reviewed the situation. Additional policemen were deployed in the town to maintain law and order.
