In Uttar Pradesh, curfew has been imposed in Kotwali police area in Allahabad district following clashes between protestors and police. Additional District Magistrate told AIR correspondent this evening that police raid and searches are going on to nab the culprit. AIR correspondent reports that the trouble started when a group of people taken out procession in old city areas after Alvida Namaz. When the protestors were restrained by the police, the agitated mobs started pelting stones.
