In Jammu and Kashmir, Curfew was today imposed in border town of Rajouri district in Jammu Division following communal tension after stone-pelting on a religious procession and subsequent tear gas shelling. According to police sources curfew was imposed in Rajouri border town this morning as a precautionary measure because of the tension. Additional security personnel have been deployed in sensitive areas of the town to maintain peace and tranquility. No report of any untoward incident has been reported so far. Tension erupted in the town yesterday when some unidentified persons pelted stones at a religious procession in Rajouri town, prompting police to lob tear gas shells to disperse them. They were protesting against the remarks made by Vishwa Hindu Parishad Leader Praven Togadia during his visit to Rajouri on Sunday.
