Curfew imposed in Itanagar following violence during bandh

<span style="color: #222222;">Curfew was imposed in Arunachal Pradesh's capital Itanagar from 3 pm on Saturday till 9 am on Monday after violence erupted during the 48 hour-bandh. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Various local organizations had called for the bandh on the issue of granting Permanent Resident Certificate, PRC to non-Arunachalee settlers in the state. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Meanwhile, Home Minister Rajnath Singh spoke to Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu and discussed the prevailing situation. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Singh urged the people to remain calm and maintain peace. </span><br />''
