In Uttar Pradesh, curfew has been relaxed for four hours from 10 AM to 2 PM in both Kotwali and Cantonment police station areas of Faizabad. Authorities had clamped curfew in the city on Thursday morning after violence during immersion processions of idols of Goddess Durga.Additional District Magistrate City Arvind Chaurasia said, no fresh incident of violence has been reported from any curfew bound areas during the last two days and normalcy is returning very fast.According to the latest reports, curfew has been extended for two more hours till 4 pm in Faizabad district today in both the police station areas of Kotwali and Cantonment.
