Curfew continues inb Rajouri, J&K

Indefinite curfew clamped in border town of Rajouri in Jammu and Kashmir State continues for the second day today even as there has been no report of any untoward incident from any part of the town. Curfew was imposed in Rajouri town yesterday morning following eruption of tension when some unidentified persons pelted stones on a religious procession forcing police and para-military to resort to tear-gassing and lathi-charge to separate the two groups. According to Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, G.A. Khwaja, the situation is fully under control and no untoward incident has taken place since the clamping of curfew in the town.
