Two days after Army was called in Srinagar city to help security forces enforce curfew, calm prevails in the city and other curfew bound towns in the valley. <br/><br/>Curfew was relaxed in Kulgam and Kimotowns for three hours. It however continued in ten other major towns without any relaxation.<br/><br/>The president of People’s Democratic Front Party (PDP) has appealed prime minister to directly intervene in the situation and reach out to aggrieved sections of people in the valley. She has also urged for immediate reversal of decision to use army for Maintaining law and order in the valley. <br/><br/>The union home secretary who was in Srinagar has said that the situation is under control but coming few days will be crucial.
