Curfew continues in Kashmir valley

In Jammu & Kashmir, the normal life remains disrupted across Valley on the 32nd day as heavy deployment of security forces has been made across Valley to foil the call by separatists to hold protests as part of their protest calendar. <br/><br/>The curfew continued in Anantnag town in South Kashmir and in areas under five old city police stations and Batmaloo police station in uptown Srinagar. The curfew like restrictions continued in Kupwara, Langate, Kralgund, Handwara and some other areas in north Kashmir's Kupwara district. Police officials told AIR that the restrictions under Sec 144 will continue in south Kashmir's Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian districts. Similar restrictions will continue in Budgam, Ganderbal, Sopore and Baramulla.

Curfew continues in Kashmir Valley

In Kashmir Valley, curfew continued in Baramulla, Sopore, Kupwara and Pulwama towns apart from seven Police station areas in Srinagar city. The situation remained under control except some sporadic incidents of stone pelting.
