In Assam ,curfew continues for consecutive second day today in Kokrajhar district . No untoward incident has been reported during last 24 hours as security forces are maintaining a strict vigil. The state DGP J N Choudhury today visited Kokrajhar and held discussion with senior officials on law and order situation. Security forces recovered 15 weapons in Kokrajhar after State government decided to intensify operation.

State Home Secretary in Guwahati said that situation is under control and army is doing flag march.65 para-military companies are being engaged in Kokrajhar district.
